Hobbs Drillers - New Mexico - Vintage Defunct Baseball Teams - Long Sleeve T-Shirt Size:S Before the major leagues consolidatedHobbs, New Mexico claimed its place in organized baseball when the Drillers joined the West Texas New Mexico League in 1937. Born from the oil fields of a southeastern boomtown, the team carried roughneck grit onto the diamond. Baseball and petroleum built that community side by side. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear. The Details: Arched distressed navy text reads "DRILLERS" at the top.
