The handle grip is composed of two pieces of wood secured together with dual magnetic metal rivets

with the lower left corner of the image featuring a clear handwritten signature in black ink

Romania, Kingdom. An Order Of The Crown Of Romania, III Class Commander, Civil Division, Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic CARMICHAEL(Ordin "Corona Romaniei"). Instituted in 1881. Type I (1881 1941). In silver with red and white enamels, royal crown on the obverse centrepiece, unmarked, measuring 61 mm (w) x 61. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, tiny chip evident in the white enamels on the right tip of the arm at 12 o'clock on the obverse, otherwise the enamels are intact, on a modern full length neck ribbon, near extremely fine.
